KTA provided masterplanning and full architectural services as part of the Federal Government’s BER (Building the Education Revolution). The project comprises a multi-purpose hall, informal learning spaces and accommodation for the schools in demand out of school hours program.

This inner suburban campus has constrained development potential due to heritage buildings, significant trees and limited outdoor areas. Our proposal carefully integrates the new facility with these existing buildings and landscapes. It provides learning and teaching spaces responsive to current pedagogic demands and achieves design innovation and durability using conventional construction and procurement methods within stringent budgets. The design seeks to exploit this building initiative to consolidate the school’s strong sense of community through enhanced campus facilities.
