Bulukuyt the new building sits on the school’s second campus site, across the road from the main campus. An external stair visually connects it back to the main site while giving it its own identity on Booran Road. Extensive ground-level landscaping creates passive recreation spaces around the building, and the rooftop, designed with student seating and gathering areas, has become one of the most heavily used spaces in the school outside class time.

The building provides eight new teaching spaces, six general classrooms and two science rooms, alongside a central shared space for informal learning. Nooks and window seats sit alongside larger open areas, giving students room to study quietly, meet in groups, or cross paths between classes. Outdoor learning spaces are accessible directly from classrooms at every level. Office space consolidates the Year 11 and 12 leadership team, teachers and reception staff within one facility.

Internal finishes are warm and practical, chosen to wear well over years of daily use. Bunurong artist Kobi Sainty worked with KTA on an artwork depicting local stories, embedding culture and connection to Country into the project.
