Redevelopment of the former Wertheim Piano Factory and GTV Channel 9 Studios will incorporate a mix of residential, commercial and community spaces. A feature of the project is a large, open forecourt which will provide a generous outdoor gathering space.

Much of the old 20th Century factory building will be transformed into “New York” style apartments. This residential component of the development will be contemporary in layout, style and finishes yet celebrate the underlying character and features of the original building fabric. These dormant elements will be drawn into the apartments and exposed as modern design features . Existing ceiling heights, fenestration, column layout, form and feel will provide a sense of volume and spaciousness.
